Data Science Internship

About the role#

This internship provides an opportunity to apply principles learned in educational settings to a professional work environment. Interns perform work assigned by their department under the general supervision of staff. This is a paid, full-time position intended for students currently enrolled in an educational institution or those who have graduated within the past year. Please note that employment requires membership in the Church and eligibility for a temple recommend.

What you'll do#

• Receive and execute assignments from supervising staff.
• Meet rigid and challenging deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
• Work in harmony with team members and demonstrate tact and diplomacy.
• Exercise sound judgment regarding Church doctrine, history, organization, and policy.
• Take specific direction on each assignment.

What you'll need#

• Proficiency in Excel, Data Modeling, and Dataflows.
• Experience with MS Power Query and DAX.
• Knowledge of the Power Platform, data management, and testing and deployment processes.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
