Admissions Student Services Representative – BYU-Pathway Worldwide (Part-Time, Student Employee)

About the role#

This is a part-time, remote student employee position for Summer 2026. The role supports BYU-Pathway Worldwide students by providing administrative assistance and academic record management. Employees are expected to work 15-20 hours per week during core department hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with the potential for additional hours during peak service times.

What you'll do#

• Provide support to BYU-Pathway Worldwide students.
• Manage the evaluation of incoming transfer credits and academic records, including reviewing transcripts and applying institutional policies.
• Maintain compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) when handling sensitive academic data.
• Stay informed on policy changes and standard procedures.
• Participate in special projects and various administrative duties.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a student at Ensign College, BYU-Pathway Worldwide, BYU, BYU-Idaho, or BYU-Hawaii (must reside in Utah or Idaho).
• High School Diploma, GED, or current enrollment in PathwayConnect.
• Highly developed verbal communication skills and excellent writing ability.
• Critical thinking and complex problem-solving capabilities.
• Technologically savvy with experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a detail-oriented approach.
• Must be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints worthy of a temple recommend.

Location & details#

• Location: Remote (must reside in Utah or Idaho and be willing to travel to the Salt Lake City headquarters when requested).
• Technical requirements: A quiet workspace, a computer (no Chromebooks) with at least 4 GB of RAM, and a reliable internet connection.
• Work authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
