About the role#
As a Sales & Management Intern, you will work closely with the Store Manager to learn the fundamentals of retail business and leadership. This role focuses on balancing customer service with operational tasks, preparing you for potential long-term growth within the company.
What you'll do#
- Complete key sections of the Buckle Management Manual covering orientation, leadership, and hiring.
- Manage a specific product category by setting sales goals, educating teammates, and tracking results.
- Lead and motivate the team using the Performance Tracker tool.
- Provide weekly progress reports to the Area and District Managers.
- Handle daily store operations, including cashiering, merchandise display, and register procedures.
- Participate in monthly conference calls and complete required internship assignments.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Operations Management.
- An interest in a long-term commitment with the company.
- No prior retail experience or training is required.
- The physical ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs in the store and backroom.

- This position is located in Lansing, Michigan.
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship with a rolling term.
