About the role#
The Sales & Management Intern position focuses on learning the retail business from the ground up. You will work closely with the Store Manager to understand how Buckle operates and what is required to excel in a management role. This internship is designed for students interested in a long-term commitment with the company.
What you'll do#
- Manage a specific product category by setting sales goals, educating teammates, and tracking your own results.
- Complete the Teammate Orientation, Beginning Leadership, and Recruiting, Interviewing and Hiring sections of the Buckle Management Manual.
- Perform sales, merchandising, and operational tasks including cashiering and register procedures.
- Develop a deep understanding of Buckle products, the sales presentation process, and merchandising standards.
- Provide weekly reports and progress updates to the Area Manager and District Manager.
- Participate in monthly conference calls and take ownership of all required internship assignments.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in a relevant field such as Business Administration or Marketing.
- No prior experience or training is necessary.
- Ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs.
- Interest in a long-term commitment with Buckle.

- Location: Estero, Florida.
- Modality: This is an on-site position.
- Schedule: Requires flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends, including holidays based on store needs.
