Sales and Management Intern

About the role#

The Sales and Management Intern program provides hands-on experience in retail operations, merchandising, and leadership. Working closely with the Store Manager, you will gain an understanding of the business model while contributing to the store's mission of creating an enjoyable shopping experience for guests. This role involves completing specific modules from the management manual, tracking performance metrics, and taking ownership of assigned product categories.

What you'll do#

• Greet guests with a friendly attitude and provide service across the sales floor, fitting rooms, and register area.
• Achieve personal sales-per-hour, average sales, and total net sales goals.
• Assist with merchandising tasks, including handling freight, preparing displays, and ensuring the sales floor is organized.
• Manage a specific product category by setting goals, educating teammates, and tracking results.
• Perform operational duties such as opening and closing registers, balancing cash drawers, and maintaining store security.
• Provide feedback to the Store Manager and leadership team regarding merchandise handling and operational concerns.
• Complete leadership and recruiting training modules and participate in regular progress reporting.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration or Marketing.
• An interest in a long-term commitment with the company.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs throughout the store and backroom.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.

• This is an on-site, part-time, paid internship.
