About the role#
As a Sales and Management Intern, you will work closely with store management to learn the retail business and develop leadership skills. This role focuses on delivering a positive shopping experience for guests while gaining hands-on experience in store operations, merchandising, and team development. This is a full-time, on-site internship based in Grand Junction, Colorado.
What you'll do#
- Perform sales, merchandising, and operational tasks including cashiering and store maintenance.
- Develop a deep understanding of product lines, sales presentations, and merchandising processes.
- Manage a specific product category by setting sales goals, educating teammates, and tracking performance results.
- Recruit and train teammates while maintaining a positive floor culture.
- Provide weekly reports and progress updates to the Area Manager and District Manager.
- Complete orientation and leadership modules from the company management manual.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Operations Management.
- Interest in a long-term commitment with the company.
- Ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs.
- Capability to perform all essential job duties as required.

- Compensation: $15.16 to $17.00 per hour, including base rate plus commission.
