About the role#
The Sales and Management Internship at The Buckle, Inc. is a full-time, on-site role in Broomfield, Colorado. This position is designed to provide hands-on experience in retail operations, leadership, and sales management. You will work closely with store management to understand the retail business while contributing to our mission of providing an enjoyable shopping experience for our guests.
What you'll do#
- Complete the Teammate Orientation, Beginning Leadership, and Recruiting, Interviewing, and Hiring sections of the Buckle Management Manual.
- Manage a specific product category by setting sales goals, educating teammates, and tracking results using the Performance Tracker.
- Provide weekly reports and progress updates to the Area Manager and District Manager.
- Develop core skills in recruiting, merchandising, and leadership.
- Perform daily sales tasks including cashiering, merchandise display, and register procedures.
- Actively participate in monthly conference calls to discuss business performance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program at a four-year college or university in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Marketing, or Operations Management.
- An interest in a long-term commitment with the company.
- The physical ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs throughout the store and backroom.

- Compensation: $16-$17 per hour, which includes a base rate plus commission.
