About the role#
The Sales and Management Intern position focuses on learning the retail business from the ground up. You will work closely with the Store Manager to understand daily operations and management responsibilities. This role is designed for students interested in developing leadership, recruiting, and merchandising skills within a retail environment.
What you'll do#
- Complete sections of the Buckle Management Manual covering orientation, leadership, and hiring.
- Manage a specific product category by setting sales goals, educating the team, and tracking performance results.
- Provide weekly progress reports to the Area and District Managers.
- Perform daily sales and operational tasks, including cashiering, merchandise display, and facility cleaning.
- Greet guests and provide service across the sales floor, fitting rooms, and register areas.
- Use the Sales Presentation Guide daily to meet personal sales goals.
- Participate in monthly conference calls.
- Lead and motivate teammates by using the Performance Tracker for specific departments.
- Maintain knowledge of store policies, promotions, and security practices.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- An interest in a long-term commitment with the company.
- No prior experience or training is required for this position.

- Location: Tukwila, Washington.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $22 to $24 per hour (base rate plus commission).
- Status: Part-time internship.
