About the role#
The Sales and Management Intern works closely with store management to learn the retail business. You will focus on developing leadership, recruiting, and merchandising skills while contributing to the store mission of providing an enjoyable shopping experience for guests.
What you'll do#
- Complete the Teammate Orientation, Beginning Leadership, and Recruiting, Interviewing and Hiring sections of the Buckle Management Manual.
- Manage a specific product category by setting sales goals, educating teammates, and tracking your results.
- Lead and motivate the team by tracking tools through the Performance Tracker.
- Provide weekly progress reports to the Area and District Managers.
- Handle sales, merchandising, and operational tasks, including cashiering, merchandise displays, and facility maintenance.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Marketing, or Operations Management.
- You have an interest in a long-term commitment with the company.
- You can lift and maneuver 50 lbs.
- You are able to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends.

- This position is located in Norton Shores, Michigan.
- This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
- Work is performed on-site.
