About the role#
The Sales and Management Intern position focuses on delivering an enjoyable shopping experience for our guests. You will work directly with the Store Manager to learn the fundamentals of retail business management while performing daily sales, merchandising, and operational tasks. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Union Gap, Washington.
What you'll do#
- Perform sales, merchandising, and operational tasks including cashiering and merchandise display.
- Manage a specific product category by setting sales goals, educating teammates, and tracking results.
- Complete modules from the Buckle Management Manual covering Teammate Orientation, Beginning Leadership, and Recruiting, Interviewing and Hiring.
- Provide weekly progress reports and updates to Area and District Managers.
- Participate in monthly conference calls.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Operations Management from a four-year college or university.
- Interest in a long-term commitment with Buckle.
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs.
- No prior experience or training is required for this role.
