Sales and Management Intern

About the role#

The Sales and Management Intern position focuses on delivering an enjoyable shopping experience for guests while gaining practical retail management experience. You will work closely with the Store Manager to understand retail business operations, leadership, and merchandising, while performing daily sales and operational tasks.

What you'll do#

• Greet guests with a friendly attitude and provide service throughout the store, including the sales floor, fitting rooms, and register area.
• Answer guest questions regarding merchandise, sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Manage a specific product category by setting sales goals, tracking results, and educating teammates.
• Assist with operational tasks such as cashiering, processing freight, maintaining displays, and routine facility cleaning.
• Complete leadership training modules, including orientation, recruiting, and hiring practices.
• Provide weekly progress reports to area and district management.
• Maintain knowledge of security practices and loss prevention guidelines.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• No prior retail experience or training is required.
• Interest in a long-term commitment with the company.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
