About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to develop retail management skills while working closely with store leadership. You will gain a practical understanding of how our business operates by balancing daily store tasks with specific management training modules. This is a hands-on position where you will learn to lead, recruit, and drive sales performance.
What you'll do#
- Complete core training sections of the Buckle Management Manual, including Teammate Orientation, Beginning Leadership, and Recruiting, Interviewing and Hiring.
- Manage a specific product category by setting sales goals, educating the team, and tracking results.
- Perform sales, merchandising, and operational tasks such as cashiering, register procedures, and maintaining store displays.
- Provide weekly progress reports and updates to the Area and District Managers.
- Actively participate in monthly conference calls and complete all required internship assignments.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Business Administration, Marketing, or Operations Management.
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs.
- Interest in a long-term commitment with Buckle.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- This role is based in Bridgeport, West Virginia.
- The position is on-site and full-time.
- This is a paid internship with a rolling term.
