About the role#
The Wind Development Intern supports our team by managing land records, organizing leases, and maintaining data integrity for utility-scale wind projects. You will work directly with Wind Developers to ensure our project records are accurate and up to date.
What you'll do#
- Review wind leases and easements, recording any deviations in the master tracker.
- Help implement our land management tool through data entry, quality checks, and documentation.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of landowner information.
- Maintain data integrity across all development asset records.
- Assist the development team with various project tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Geography, Urban Planning, Environmental Studies, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically with pivot tables, lookups, and data modeling.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify issues.
- High attention to detail when working with reports and land records.
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
- Preferred: Experience with Power BI or basic knowledge of GIS processes.
