About the role#
This co-op position offers engineering experience within the AES Indiana Substation Engineering team during the Summer of 2027. You will work alongside staff engineers to support the design of substation facilities and relay protection for transmission and distribution systems.
What you'll do#
- Assist staff engineers with ongoing substation projects.
- Facilitate engineering analysis and design work regarding system protection.
- Contribute to the design of substation infrastructure.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a four-year degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
- Sophomore status or higher is preferred.
- Strong academic background.
- Attention to detail, plus organization and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel and Word, is preferred.
