About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Lavonia, Georgia. You will work on-site to support our manufacturing operations and engineering teams.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to solve process problems.
- Learn about blow molding, assembly processes, tooling, and system layouts.
- Conduct cycle time studies to identify bottlenecks and reduce downtime.
- Create standardized work instructions.
- Analyze scrap and downtime data using Pareto charts and trend analysis to identify root causes.
- Improve operational equipment efficiency based on A3 analysis.
- Participate in operational meetings and assist the New Product Introduction group with project launches.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university degree program for Engineering or Applied Science, with a focus on automation or robotics.
- Preferred skills include data analysis, electronics, software engineering, robotics, and mechatronics.
