About the role#
As a Quality Engineer intern, you will gain hands-on experience by working on real projects alongside experienced professionals. You will contribute to our manufacturing processes and help ensure the quality of our aircraft engines.
What you'll do#
- Perform quality planning activities, including the development of Quality Plan, Quality Assurance Directive, and Inspection Plan documents.
- Review customer contracts to identify and define requirements.
- Interface with Supplier Quality Engineering to provide guidance and support for supplier issues.
- Use your knowledge of inspection tools and techniques to define inspection requirements.
- Participate in process improvement activities, such as monitoring, root cause investigations, auditing, and failure analysis.
- Join design document reviews and assist in developing fabrication and build processes.
- Work with internal organizations and systems to perform quality engineering functions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or have completed a bachelor’s degree in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Knowledge of statistical techniques and applications.
- Ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
