    About the role#

    This internship provides practical exposure to materials engineering and consulting. You will work on real projects, gain hands-on experience, and learn how technical decisions impact clients and the community. You will join a nationwide cohort of interns and receive mentorship from professionals throughout the summer.

    What you'll do#

    • Collaborate with engineers and technicians on field and laboratory assignments.
    • Build core skills in sampling, testing, data analysis, and report development.
    • Observe how technical work translates into project outcomes.
    • Learn safe field and laboratory practices, including ASTM, DOT, and COE testing standards.
    • Develop project management, quality management, and client communication skills.
    • Participate in a cohort program and share your experiences with executive leadership.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biology, or related technical or business fields.
    • An interest in consulting and fieldwork.
    • Curiosity, teamwork, and alignment with company values.
    • A valid driver’s license with an acceptable violation history may be required.
