About the role#
This summer internship supports the geotechnical service line. You will work alongside professional engineers and technicians to gain hands-on experience in consulting engineering. You will be assigned a mentor to assist with technical skill development and career planning. The program includes participation in an intern cohort and concludes with a presentation to leadership regarding your summer experience.
What you'll do#
- Perform sampling and testing tasks as directed.
- Assist field and laboratory personnel with routine project work.
- Seek learning opportunities and guidance from your assigned mentor.
- Take on progressively increased training and responsibilities throughout the summer.
- Create and deliver a final presentation to leadership about your work and experiences.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma.
- Current enrollment in a BS or Master's degree program in civil or geotechnical engineering.
- Less than one year remaining to complete your degree.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship located in Plymouth, Minnesota.
- The term runs during the summer of 2027.
- This role is on-site.
