About the role#
This internship provides practical exposure to geotechnical engineering. You will work alongside professionals on real client projects and learn how technical decisions affect the community. The program includes mentorship and participation in a nationwide cohort where you will share your experiences with executive leadership.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians on field and laboratory assignments.
- Support active project work while learning to apply technical standards.
- Develop core skills in sampling, testing, data analysis, and report writing.
- Gain knowledge in project management, quality systems, and client communication.
- Follow safe field and laboratory practices that align with our safety culture.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
- A genuine interest in consulting and fieldwork.
- Demonstrated curiosity and an ability to work well within a team.

- A valid driver’s license with an acceptable violation history may be required.
