    About the role#

    This internship provides practical exposure to facilities engineering and the business functions that support these services. You will work alongside professionals who are shaping the built environment while turning classroom learning into real-world experience. You will be trusted to contribute to active client projects and develop consulting skills under the guidance of a dedicated mentor.

    What you'll do#

    • Collaborate with experienced engineers and technicians on field and laboratory assignments.
    • Support active project work and observe how technical decisions translate to client and community outcomes.
    • Build core skills in sampling, testing, data analysis, and report development.
    • Receive mentorship from professionals committed to your growth.
    • Participate in a nationwide internship cohort program and share your experience with executive leadership.
    • Learn safe field and laboratory practices, ASTM/DOT/COE testing standards, and project management fundamentals.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Business Administration, or related technical fields.
    • A genuine interest in consulting and fieldwork.
    • Demonstrated curiosity and a focus on teamwork.
    • Alignment with company values of caring, courage, curiosity, excellence, integrity, and prosperity.
    • A valid driver’s license with an acceptable violation history may be required.

    • Location: Charlotte, North Carolina.
    • Term: Summer 2027.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • This is a paid, full-time internship.
