    About the role#

    Terex Corporation is hiring a Shop Services Intern to join our Utilities Services team. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship focused on the service and repair of truck-mounted mobile hydraulic equipment. This role is offered on a rolling basis and requires a commitment of 40 hours per week for 6 months.

    What you'll do#

    • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment.
    • Work directly with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
    • Learn and apply diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques.
    • Use internal services software and other computer programs to track work.

    What you'll need#

    • You must be at least 18 years of age.
    • A High School degree or GED is required.
    • You should have entry-level experience or be a recent graduate from a technical school with training in troubleshooting, service, and repair of truck-mounted hydraulic equipment.
    • You must provide your own tool box equipped with basic tools.
    • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
    • Strong shop math skills and mechanical aptitude.
    • A positive, safety-centered mindset.
    • Current students pursuing degrees in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering are encouraged to apply.

    • Kent, Washington
