About the role#
This is an entry-level position within the Manufacturing Engineering team at Terex. You will gain experience in manufacturing processes, problem solving, and lean manufacturing. This role requires hands-on work in the factory, where you may encounter temperature variations and dusty environments.
What you'll do#
- Support the Manufacturing Engineering and Training departments by documenting processes for operator training.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures for production.
- Perform plant and equipment layouts.
- Conduct process time studies and gather data for analysis.
- Prepare and justify capital spend projects.
- Recommend and implement process improvements.
- Provide technical support for the production line.
- Collaborate with production management to improve existing systems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Completion of at least three years of study.
- Experience with CAD or Pro-E software.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
