About the role#
The Corporate Communications Intern supports the team in promoting business operations for football, soccer, and stadium events. You will help relay information to fans, media, partners, and employees. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Charlotte, North Carolina. The term runs from September 2026 through July 2027.
What you'll do#
- Create digital and print promotional materials, including presentations and press releases.
- Develop and distribute internal and external communications.
- Monitor media coverage and track news relevant to the organization.
- Manage the communications event tracker.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, media events, and other internal needs.
- Support content creation for the company LinkedIn profile.
What you'll need#
- A bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, sports management, or equivalent experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and desktop publishing software.
- Ability to handle confidential, privileged, or sensitive information.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift at least 20 pounds.
