About the role#
This paid, full-time internship offers a hands-on preview of the Executive Team Leader role. Over the summer of 2027, you will work alongside mentors and store management to learn how to lead a retail team, drive operational performance, and deliver a high-quality guest experience. This program is designed to develop your leadership skills through real-world store management tasks.
What you'll do#
- Lead and motivate team members to achieve daily sales and operational goals.
- Partner with store leadership to coach, train, and provide performance feedback to the team.
- Plan daily objectives and organize workflows within the store.
- Analyze business reports and guest insights to identify and troubleshoot areas for improvement.
- Execute daily operations, including stocking shelves and building store displays.
- Engage with guests to provide assistance and ensure a welcoming shopping environment.
What you'll need#
- A strong interest in retail management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technology.
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
- Ability to lift or move merchandise weighing up to 44 pounds.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Pursuit of a degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or Marketing.
Location & details#
This is an on-site internship based in Nebraska and Iowa. Locations include Omaha, Lincoln, Council Bluffs, Bellevue, Grand Island, Kearney, and Papillion. This role is a full-time commitment for Summer 2027.
