    Job Title: Analyst Department: Choose an item. Reports to: Regional President Status: Non-Exempt About the Role The summer Analyst Internship provides direct support to Commercial Relationship Managers in the development and analysis of commercial real estate and business loan opportunities. This role is responsible for preparing comprehensive financial analyses, evaluating creditworthiness, assisting with loan structuring, and supporting the management of commercial lending relationships. The position works closely with lending officers, credit administration, executive leadership, and customers to facilitate sound credit decisions Work Details Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Work Location: ☒ Onsite ☐ Hybrid ☐ Remote Travel: None What You’ll Do * Support Commercial Relationship Managers in analyzing commercial real estate and business lending opportunities. * Maintain an assigned loan portfolio as a secondary Relationship Manager. * Prepare accurate financial statement spreads and debt service analyses using business and personal financial statements and tax returns. * Develop credit authorizations and present thorough analyses of existing and prospective borrowers. * Identify customer needs and develop cross-sell opportunities. * Refer lending opportunities to appropriate lending personnel. * Independently obtain financial information from customers and prospects for analysis and underwriting purposes. * Monitor borrower compliance with loan covenants. * Prepare financial projections and maintain lending pipeline tracking logs. * Research industry information relevant to borrowers and prospects. * Consult with lending and credit administration personnel regarding credit structure, pricing, collateral, and risk considerations. * Conduct trade and reference checks. * Review documentation for compliance with bank policies and procedures. Support special projects assigned by management. * Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including BSA, AML, CRA, OFAC, Fair Lending, GLBA, and related banking regulations. * Participate in business development and telemarketing activities. * Perform additional duties as assigned. What We’re Looking For * Bachelor's degree. * Strong intermediate knowledge of accounting principles, tax return analysis, balance sheet analysis, income statement analysis, cash flow analysis, and financial interpretation. * Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. * Intermediate knowledge of loan documentation. * Ability to manage a high volume of work from multiple sources. (Nice to Have) * Commercial real estate lending experience. * Commercial credit underwriting experience. * Financial statement spreading and credit analysis experience. * Banking industry knowledge and regulatory awareness.
