Concrete Division Intern - Engineer

About the role#

Sundt Construction is seeking a Concrete Division Intern to support engineering and construction management operations. This role provides hands-on experience on active projects, involving interns in the daily activities required to build and manage construction sites. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position with a rolling term.

What you'll do#

• Assist with project record keeping, cost control, and submittal logging.
• Prepare shop drawings, quantity take-offs, and project reports.
• Support field operations including surveying, testing, sample collection, and safety inspections.
• Monitor subcontractors, track schedules, and manage inventory.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to secure proposals.
• Perform various tasks as a helper, clerk, or technician assistant to support project execution.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a four-year Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering program.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to take on diverse challenges.
• Curiosity, a desire to learn, and an interest in pursuing a career as a builder.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and comply with all safety standards in a safety-sensitive environment.
