About the role#
Sub-Zero Group, Inc. offers a co-op program designed to provide students with hands-on experience through real-world projects. Participants work alongside industry professionals to contribute to the development and enhancement of our products. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Madison, Wisconsin. The program term is for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop new products while creating prototypes and test builds.
- Create and implement automated test systems to verify appliance performance and quality.
- Assist in reliability engineering, including product teardowns, root-cause analysis, and sensor data evaluation.
- Maintain manufacturing processes and drive improvements in production efficiency, safety, and quality.
- Develop mobile applications and cloud IoT solutions to support connected appliance features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, quality, and software departments.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Computer Engineering, Data Science, or Business Administration.
- Hands-on experience with product development.
- Familiarity with statistical tools for data analysis.
- Experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks.
- Understanding of manufacturing operations and quality assurance principles.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
