About the role#
STV is looking for an Architecture Intern to join our team for the Summer 2027 term. This is a paid, full-time position based in Waco, Texas. We operate on a hybrid schedule, requiring you to be in the office at least 3 days per week. We prefer candidates who can commit to the role for at least 3 months.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the initial design phase and contribute to detailed architectural design work.
- Support the preparation of architectural plans under the supervision of senior architects.
- Analyze design and construction systems, planning studies, design layouts, and construction details.
- Participate in site and construction inspections and prepare interpretive reports.
- Aid in executing code analysis, material selections, and technical solutions.
- Research, compile, and record information for assigned projects.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to support project integration.
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and managing project work.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Architecture.
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in Rhino, 3-D Max, and Sketch-up is a plus.
- LEED Accreditation is preferred.
- Previous experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction management industry.

- Compensation: $41,107.00 - $46,713.00 per year.
