    About the role#

    This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Columbia City, Indiana. You will work on-site as an R&D engineer, contributing to projects that impact medical technology. You will receive mentorship from leaders and gain experience in a professional engineering environment.

    What you'll do#

    • Contribute to meaningful projects and implement new ideas.
    • Research new technologies, customer expectations, business requirements, and regulations.
    • Develop new product concepts using CAD, FEA, and Test Labs.
    • Improve the safety and efficacy of existing products through data analysis and testing.
    • Assist with timelines, budgets, and resource reporting.
    • Help improve executive-level reporting tools.
    • Document complex processes and present them clearly.
    • Network with high-level stakeholders and leaders.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
    • Must remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the internship ends.
    • A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
    • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and build professional relationships.
