About the role#
As a Quality Engineering Intern at Stryker, you will contribute to projects that impact medical technology. You will join one of our specialized teams, such as Advanced Quality, Process Quality, Supplier Quality, or general Quality. You will apply your academic background to real-world engineering challenges while working alongside experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Apply classroom knowledge to gain experience in an industry setting.
- Document complex processes and present them in a clear format.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure manufacturing processes meet quality standards.
- Evaluate risk and help drive craftsmanship, safety, durability, and reliability into products.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
- Must remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program following the internship.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employment-based sponsorship.
