About the role#
As an Engineering Intern in Product Quality, you will contribute to projects that support the development and sustainment of medical technologies. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet high standards for safety, reliability, and performance. This role involves direct engagement with technical challenges and the opportunity to apply your engineering background in a real-world manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product sustainment.
- Engage with suppliers to verify that components and manufacturing processes meet quality standards.
- Evaluate product risk and ensure customer user needs are met.
- Document complex processes and present them in a clear format.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- Must remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program following the internship.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based sponsorship.

- This is an on-site position based in Tempe, Arizona.
- The role is a full-time, paid internship.
