About the role#
We are looking for a Construction Project Engineer Intern to join our team in the Hartford area for the Summer 2027 term. This is an on-site, full-time position where you will apply your academic knowledge to real-world construction projects. You will gain hands-on experience while supporting our efforts to improve and protect infrastructure.
What you'll do#
- Provide project management support across various active job sites.
- Assist with estimating, budget preparation, and job cost management.
- Help track project schedules and production rates.
- Support client relations, safety management, and quality control processes.
- Assist with business development tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or completion of a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and documentation habits.
- Proficiency with computers.
- A positive outlook and a team-oriented mindset.
