About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to work on construction projects in Long Island City. You will gain hands-on experience in project engineering while contributing to the repair and maintenance of infrastructure. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Provide project management support.
- Assist with estimating and budget preparation.
- Manage job costs.
- Track production rates and project schedules.
- Support client relations.
- Assist with safety and quality control management.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing or have completed a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with computers.
- A positive outlook and the ability to work well within a team.
