About the role#
We are looking for a Construction Project Engineer Intern to join our team in Salt Lake City for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, paid internship. You will work on various construction projects to develop your skills and apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting. Please note that this role requires travel, and you will spend most of the summer assigned to an out of town project.
What you'll do#
- Provide support for project management tasks.
- Assist with estimating and budget preparation.
- Manage job costs and project scheduling.
- Track production rates on site.
- Help manage client relations, safety protocols, and quality control.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or completion of a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and documentation habits.
- Proficiency with computers.
- A positive outlook and the ability to work well within a team.
