About the role#
As an intern at Stripe, you will work on projects across our stack that directly impact how millions of businesses operate. You will own problems end to end with support from your manager and teammates. This is an opportunity to work alongside engineers and learn how to ship high-quality work at scale. You will contribute to our codebase and gain insight into the global economy.
What you'll do#
- Operate as a member of your team by engaging in technical design processes and decision-making.
- Write software that is deployed to production and has a direct impact on our business and users.
- Give and receive technical feedback through code reviews and design discussions.
- Collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to incorporate feedback.
- Use AI tools to accelerate development while applying critical thinking to review and validate outputs.
What you'll need#
- Pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related discipline.
- At least 1 year of university education or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with programming through side projects, classwork, or previous internships.
- Ability to learn unfamiliar systems through independent research and collaboration with mentors.
- Experience working on multi-person projects, such as team internships or open source contributions.
