About the role#
As a Data Analyst Intern, you will work on projects that impact how millions of businesses operate. You will own problems from start to finish with the support of your manager and teammates. You will join a community of data analysts and scientists to help drive company-wide initiatives. We will align you with a specific team based on your background.
What you'll do#
- Analyze data and run experiments to drive impact.
- Ensure our users, products, and business have the models, data products, and insights needed for decision-making.
- Build and improve data assets, including metrics, reports, and dashboards.
- Extend the Stripe metrics semantic layer.
- Assess the impact of product launches and business decisions using A/B testing and analytics.
- Communicate project status clearly.
- Present your work to the Data Science team, partner teams, and fellow interns.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a quantitative Bachelor’s or Master's degree program, such as Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or Mathematics.
- Expected graduation date in December 2027 or spring/summer 2028.
- Experience with SQL.
- Proficiency with AI tools to accelerate coding, analysis, and model development.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
- Experience writing and debugging data pipelines.
- Ability to evaluate and act on feedback from mentors and peers.
- Ability to learn new systems and form an understanding of how they function.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The role is based on-site in New York, New York or Seattle, Washington.
- The program operates on a rolling basis.
