About the role#
Strik, Baldinelli, Moniz, Ltd. is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for a 16-month placement at our London, Ontario office. This full-time, paid position runs from April 2027 through August 2028. You will work on a variety of projects including subdivisions, site developments, and municipal work. The role follows a progressive learning model, moving from foundational tasks to more complex project involvement as your skills grow.
What you'll do#
- Prepare civil engineering designs and documentation while ensuring accuracy and conformance to requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to support project milestones from preliminary design through completion.
- Accept technical guidance from senior staff, designers, and technologists.
- Coordinate civil aspects of projects with other design disciplines.
- Prepare and review tender or contract documents when required.
- Conduct site investigations and general construction reviews, including the preparation of field review reports.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least two years toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited Canadian university, with current enrollment.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with Provincial and local municipal design guidelines, the Ontario Building Code, and Canadian engineering standards.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- A willingness to learn, adapt to changing priorities, and commit to professional growth.

- Location: London, Ontario, Canada.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
