About the role#
The Graduate Assistant for Residence Life and Housing supports the day-to-day operations of campus housing at Stevens Institute of Technology. This role works across all residential areas, including residence halls and fraternity and sorority houses, to assist with facilities coordination and housing operations. You will report to the Manager of Operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist in responding to and resolving facilities-related issues.
- Track and monitor work orders.
- Conduct building inspections.
- Coordinate with Facilities staff and vendors.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
- Support move-in and move-out processes.
- Assist with occupancy tracking and summer housing operations.
- Provide administrative support and maintain records.
- Assist with student staff supervision and conduct follow-up.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- Current enrollment in a graduate program.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Preference is given to students in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Communications.
Location & details#
- Location: Hoboken, New Jersey.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week, including weekdays with some evenings and weekends.
- Term: Rolling.
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
