About the role#
The Quality Engineering Student Program offers a year-round opportunity to gain experience within the automotive industry. Unlike traditional summer internships, this program allows you to work throughout your academic journey. You will be assigned to a specific functional area, such as Current Production Quality, Assembly Corporate Quality, or Reliability Quality. You will work on project-oriented assignments that contribute to the department while learning about our business culture.
What you'll do#
- Support North America quality initiatives within your assigned functional area.
- Engage in project-oriented assignments that provide real-world experience.
- Interface with staff at all levels within the quality departments.
- Apply your academic coursework to drive project results.
- Participate in structured activities and networking events to build professional connections.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor degree or higher in Engineering or a related field.
- Completion of at least one year of undergraduate study.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work 24 hours per week year-round, with potential for 40 hours during summer months.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong data analysis skills and a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Demonstrated leadership in academic, extracurricular, or service organizations.
- Interest in the automotive industry and new technologies.
- Previous internship experience within a quality function is preferred.
Location & details#
- This role is based at the Stellantis Headquarters and Technology Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
- This is an on-site, year-round position requiring 24 hours of work per week during business hours.
- The program follows a rolling application process with cohorts starting in January, April, June, and September.
- This position is paid and does not offer immigration-related sponsorship.
