About the role#
The North America Planning Student Program offers a year-round opportunity to gain experience in the automotive industry. You will join the Portfolio Planning Data Analytics team, which supports the long-range vehicle product plan through market insights and consumer research. This program allows you to apply classroom knowledge to real-world projects while working alongside experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Structure and transform data sets to support planning initiatives.
- Build reports to track key metrics and project progress.
- Provide data and insights for special projects to drive strategic business decisions.
- Collaborate with team members on project-oriented assignments.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
- Completed at least one year of undergraduate study.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced analytical and PowerPoint presentation skills.
- Introductory classroom experience with Microsoft Excel, specifically formulas, Pivot tables, and the Data Analysis Toolpak.
- Basic programming skills in SQL or Python.
- Familiarity with data tables and databases.
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Creative and resourceful information mining skills.
- A strong interest in the automotive industry.
- Previous automotive internship or work experience is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a year-round, paid program requiring 24 hours of work per week.
- You will work remotely during the academic year (September through April).
- You are expected to work onsite at the Stellantis Headquarters and Technology Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan, during the summer months (May through August).
- Students residing in the Metro Detroit area are encouraged to work onsite during the academic year as their schedule permits.
- During the summer, hours may increase up to 40 hours per week based on business needs.
- Relocation may be required for the summer period, and assistance may be available for eligible students.
