Water Co-op Student - Fall 2026

About the role#

As a Water Co-op Student, you will work in a team environment gaining exposure to the planning, design, and construction of water infrastructure projects. This role supports a variety of local and national projects, including water and wastewater plants, pump stations, and distribution systems.

What you'll do#

• Assist with project administration, including drafting proposals and correspondence, tracking project costs, and completing progress reports.
• Support technical staff by researching, compiling, and evaluating project data.
• Perform calculations for water and wastewater treatment, sewer, or tunnel design projects.
• Conduct computer data entry and gain exposure to CAD, GIS, and design software.
• Perform research and coordinate with vendors for project information.
• Complete additional engineering and administrative duties as required.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Coursework or exposure to the planning, design, or construction of water and wastewater systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to multi-task and take direction.
