Stantec is seeking an Engineering Student to support the delivery of complex bridge and marine infrastructure projects. This role provides hands-on experience across all phases of project execution, including planning and design, while helping to develop core technical competencies.
What you'll do#
- Provide general support to the project management team, including administrative tasks.
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities.
- Prepare project documentation, such as project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
- Monitor project budgets and financials.
- Prepare drawings, calculations, technical reports, memorandums, and other technical documents.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Civil or Structural Engineering degree program.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- A detail-oriented and proactive approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Availability for a 4-month internship.

- Location: Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Modality: On-site.
- This is a paid, full-time internship position. Please note that the role involves a typical office environment with sedentary work, while field work may include exposure to elements and inclement weather.
