About the role#
The Power Delivery team is seeking an Engineering Student for an 8 to 18-month internship term beginning in Fall 2026. This role provides hands-on experience working alongside practitioners on projects involving electrical, civil, structural, and environmental engineering domains.
What you'll do#
- Assist the power distribution design team with daily tasks, including the coordination of drawings and project details.
- Participate in design calculations and plans while ensuring compliance with standards, guidelines, code requirements, and regulations.
- Support the project management team by developing dashboards and Power BI reports.
- Track project actions and milestones and assist with documentation control.
- Complete general duties and special projects as directed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Engineering program (Electrical, Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical).
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Project, Word, Excel, and Power BI is considered an asset.
