About the role#
Stantec is seeking an Engineering Intern for the Energy practice for the Fall 2026 term. This role provides an opportunity to work on power delivery projects alongside experienced practitioners. You will contribute to local, national, and international projects while gaining hands-on experience in the consulting engineering industry.
What you'll do#
- Provide engineering support for various design projects.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and CAD designers.
- Produce drawings, including CAD drafting and sketches.
- Review design calculations and assist with report preparation.
- Conduct product research and outreach.
- Perform occasional site visits and other project-related tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering program.
- Completion of at least one year of college, with an expected graduation date within approximately three years.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Basic understanding of CAD drafting software and MS Office.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
