About the role#
This summer internship offers exposure to water infrastructure projects. You will join a multi-disciplinary team working on dams, levees, pump stations, treatment facilities, and water piping. You will support projects for local municipalities, government agencies, and industrial clients.
What you'll do#
- Assist with project administration, including drafting proposals, writing reports, and tracking project costs.
- Support technical staff by researching and evaluating project data.
- Perform calculations for design projects.
- Complete modeling and design activities for water infrastructure.
- Gain experience with CAD, GIS, and other design programs.
- Conduct construction observations and assist with field work when needed.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and take direction.
- A willingness to learn.

- This position is paid. You will work in an office environment with occasional field work that may involve exposure to the elements.
