About the role#
Stantec is hiring a Civil Engineering Intern to join the Community Development team in Naples, Florida. You will work under the mentorship of a Senior Engineer with over 25 years of experience. The role involves supporting project tasks related to municipal utilities, energy grid improvements, private site development, and federal agency expansions.
What you'll do#
- Use CAD drafting to create construction plans.
- Conduct field visits and site reviews.
- Assist with design calculations and the preparation of reports.
- Help develop engineer's estimates.
- Perform other entry-level engineering duties as needed to support infrastructure projects.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering.
- You have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- You are proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and standard word processing software.
