About the role#
StageRight Corporation is offering a full-time Manufacturing Engineering internship for the summer of 2027. This role is based on-site in Clare, Michigan. You will gain practical experience in manufacturing technology and electrical engineering while contributing to real-world projects in the sports and entertainment industry.
What you'll do#
- Learn current engineering systems to help identify and implement process improvements.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Drafting, and Design teams to increase product efficiency, including production specifications, product flow, and assembly methods.
- Perform hands-on tasks such as wiring, assembling, and operating complex equipment.
- Gain insight into how manufacturing operations interact with other departments.
- Manage multiple projects with accuracy and urgency.
- Provide solutions for manufacturing challenges.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for electrical, manufacturing, or a related engineering field.
- Completion of at least two years of college coursework in mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
- Proficiency with MS Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret English language documents.
- Basic math skills.
- A self-starting attitude with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Previous student involvement or work experience is a plus, as is experience with Autodesk Inventor, programming logic, or robotics.
