About the role#
The St. Clair Student Representative Council is seeking individuals to join the events team. This role supports a variety of events and rentals, including occasional evenings and weekends, to ensure the success of student-focused programming. You will work primarily at the South Campus in Windsor, with occasional shifts at the Downtown campus.
What you'll do#
- Assist security with capacity counting and crowd control.
- Provide door and ticket support.
- Manage event setup, teardown, and cleanup.
- Handle material distribution.
- Utilize Square Terminals as required.
- Maintain a general staff presence to assist students during events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time St. Clair student at the South or Downtown campus.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- A friendly, positive, and outgoing attitude.
- Ability to work a variety of event shifts.
- Smart Serve certification is considered an asset.
Location & details#
- Location: Windsor, Ontario (On-site).
- Commitment: 5 to 15 hours per week, depending on the event schedule and bookings.
- Compensation: This is a paid, hourly position.
- Term: Rolling.
