About the role#
The St. Clair Student Representative Council is seeking a Student Photographer to document campus life and events. This role focuses on capturing high-quality imagery to showcase student engagement and promote the St. Clair College community through digital and print platforms.
What you'll do#
- Photograph SRC events, activities, and campus initiatives.
- Capture candid moments, group photos, and event highlights.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Events teams to produce requested content.
- Maintain photography equipment and ensure all files are properly stored and organized.
- Represent the SRC professionally while interacting with students and staff.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a St. Clair College student in good academic standing.
- Experience using DSLR or mirrorless cameras.
- Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and photography techniques.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required for events.
- Proficiency in photo editing software like Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop is an asset.
- Skills in communication, time management, and organization.
- Previous experience in event or sports photography, social media content creation, or visual storytelling is preferred.
