About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience in creative design and brand communication within a manufacturing organization. You will work with the Marketing team to develop visual content for digital and print platforms. Under the guidance of a Senior Designer, you will contribute to product collateral, website updates, social media graphics, and campaign materials while ensuring brand consistency.
What you'll do#
- Select and develop photos for marketing materials, websites, and blog posts.
- Design and produce marketing assets for print and digital use.
- Retouch and manipulate images to meet brand standards.
- Update product collateral and marketing assets for rebranding initiatives.
- Perform light website updates and content edits in WordPress.
- Maintain backend systems by uploading product and marketing content.
- Organize and manage digital asset libraries and the marketing file server.
- Support the Marketing Communications Team with creative projects and campaign coordination.
- Collaborate across departments to communicate product value.
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
- Assist with daily marketing administration and office duties.
- Provide support for product launches, special projects, and company events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as at least a junior in a bachelor’s program for Marketing, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- A 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher is preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Experience with print and digital design layout.
- Understanding of color theory and typography.
- Project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams.
- Interest in branding, marketing communications, and digital media.
